Are you tired of booking virtual team-building exercises only to get little meaningful engagement, and worse ROI?

Corporate culture is more than a luxury—its a necessity for strong teams that can formulate and carry out smart high-level strategy and pivot quickly when needed. Teams with a strong sense of connection and community are able to collaborate to achieve goals on a level far above teams that are riven by internal strife or lack of communication. This is doubly true for remote teams.

So, how do you cultivate this sense of trust and bonding when “mandated fun” usually brings on eye-rolls, at best?

We are the creators of Team Tables, a highly-effective, narrative-driven RPG program designed to train soft skills like Agency, Prioritization, and Creative Problem Solving, while building a sense of community and companionship within your team.

Roleplay Games with Return on Investment

Man in front of computer. On the computer screen is a zoom call with coworkers. They are smiling.

To achieve these goals, we leverage the power of one of the most fun and stimulating hobby activities in the world—tabletop roleplaying games—packaged for use in a corporate environment. We have a unique lineup of games that capitalize on the power of roleplaying, while being presented in extremely simple terms for use in a one-off event with participants who are new to roleplaying games.

Our programs teach skills like…

  • Prioritizing under pressure

  • Independent thinking and decision-making

  • Communicating effectively with incomplete information

  • Creative thinking and problem solving

  • Formulating and implementing a high-level strategy

...all while powerfully building a sense of team-bonding through genuine engagement.

Storytelling

Humans are creatures of stories, and even when those stories seem, on the surface, to not be directly relevant, there are often lessons and parallels that can be drawn between the fiction and the reality.

When we present a fictional situation to your team, it will be something new to them, which naturally elicits more engagement and brainwaves than repeating a familiar activity. They will organically engage in an Observe-Orient-Decide-Act Loop, gathering information and making decisions both individually and as a team.

Sure, the problems they face may be about dragons and elves, or spaceships and aliens, or edritch horrors and cowboys, but to tackle those problems they need to engage the same skills that are required for success in a professional workplace: creative problem-solving and using the OODA Loop for decision-making, often with incomplete information.

Communication and Camaraderie

By working together to solve these fictional problems, your team will also practice their communication and teamwork skills and build a sense of camaraderie. All the delights of a good story are to be had, from laughter to danger to pathos—only your team is at the heart of that story, rather than being passive observers. They will come out feeling a stronger sense of connection and bonding for having shared this experience, and isn’t that the point?

If your team could use genuinely engaging and fun cha

llenges that hone real-world skills, book a discovery call today.
